PATIO DINING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Michael’s Back Door Restaurant is thrilled to announce the opening of our new evening dining patio Tuesday through Sunday beginning Tuesday, July 14th. Your support over the past few months has made this possible and for that, we are incredibly grateful.

Location & Hours of Operation

 

Our dining patio will be located at the front of the building (on Lakeshore Road West). Parking spots are available in the back and there is a side staircase on the east side of the building so you can access the patio without entering the building. There are also limited parking spots available on Lakeshore Road.

 

Monday:  Closed

Tuesday thru Thursday: 5:00 – 9:00 pm

Friday and Saturday:  5:00 – 10:00 pm

Sunday:  5:00 – 8:30 pm


Seating Availability & Group Sizes

 

We will be taking reservations for our patio dining by phone only 905-822-5751. Walk-ins are also welcome if availability allows however, tables are limited as they will be a minimum of 6 feet apart. 

 

Please keep in mind, under the current municipal guidelines we are only permitted to seat tables of up to 6 people.

 

We will still be offering take-out and delivery during this time. If the patio is full, takeout is always an option.

 

 

Inclement Weather

 

During Stage 2, Peel Public Health does not allow customers to move inside to dine when it rains. If it rains, while maintaining 2 metres (6 feet) of physical distancing, patrons can go inside to pack their meals for takeout and pay. Unfortunately, dining cannot continue indoors at this time.

 

 

Bathroom Facilities

 

Patrons will have access to bathroom facilities inside the building but as per the City of Mississauga by-law, will be required to wear a mask when indoors.

 

 

Our COVID-19 Safety Procedures 

 

We will be adhering to all Public Health Policies and Procedures and you can expect the following:

  • All employees will be required to do a health check (including taking their temperature) each day before they begin work

  • Any employee exhibiting any potential symptoms or not feeling well will NOT be permitted to work and must be symptom-free and receive a negative COVID-19 test before returning.

  • All servers will be required to wear masks

  • Tables will be spaced at least 6 feet apart to maintain physical distancing

  • Pay station terminals will have disposable covers which will be replaced after each use

  • Menus will be single-use only or you can view the menu via our website on your mobile phone

  • Continual sanitation of all high touch surfaces including seats, tables, menus, pay pads, etc. 

  • Patrons will be required to leave their name and contact information for contact tracing purposes
